Elite Gamers Come Together at China OpenThe Beijing Olympic Green Ping pong Center, constructed for the 2008 Olympic Gamings, is the location for the China Open. In 2011, the center extended to 11 courthouses. The site also boasts a 15,000-seat arena along with a retracting roof, called the Diamond Courthouse because of its likeness. The tennis center works with space-age air-cooling technology to benefit players as well as fans.
